Hypnosis is a focused state of awareness or perception—a highly relaxed state in which a person’s conscious and subconscious mind is open and receptive to suggestions and imagery.

In a hypnosis session you are simply supported in obtaining a safe, relaxed, and aware mental state in which you become more receptive to positive suggestions related to a desired goal. The result is a experience that is as refreshing as it is beneficial.

Guided Imagery

Guided imagery involves methods of inducing deep relaxation and utilizing the skills of imagining to assist clients in reducing stress, shifting unwanted patterns of thought, alleviating pain, reducing anxiety and empowering the individual to a greater sense of self-efficacy and capacity.

During guided imagery work, the facilitator aids the participant in evoking and generating mental images that stimulate or recreate the sensory perception of sights, sounds, tastes, smell and movements as well as imaginal content that may elicit strong emotions or feelings with the goal of creating new patterns of thought and perception that serve the client in meeting established goals.
